Susie Jo Douglas, of Maysville, MO, passed away peacefully on September 3rd at the age of 79, surrounded by her loving family. Born on June 19th, 1946, in Indianapolis, IN, to Robert and Lily Troutman, she lived a life filled with love, thoughtfulness, and strength.

Susie was a devoted wife to her husband, Henry Douglas, for 24 years, and a loving mother to her child, James Troutman. She found immense joy in her family and her home, which was always filled with warmth and open arms. She was known for her undeniable sense of humor, dedication to her family, and love of Halloween.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and her sisters and a brother: Jackie, Joyce, Rosie and Robert.

She is survived by her husband, Henry; her son, James; her daughter in law, Kim; her grandchildren, Ashley, Mariah and Brandi; and her stepchildren, Don Douglas and Richard Douglas.

A private funeral service will be held on September 13th at 10:00AM at Turner Family Funeral Home in Maysville, MO.
