Susan Griewisch

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Suzie Griewisch, who left this world on July 6, 2025, at the age of 73. Susan was a devoted mother, loving grandmother, cherished friend, and compassionate caregiver whose warmth and kindness touched many lives.

She is survived by her beloved daughter Megan, son-in-law Connor, and her treasured grandson Bowen, who brought immense joy and pride to her life. She also leaves behind her loyal furry companions, Peanut and Polly, who never left her side.

Susan dedicated much of her life to caring for others as a caregiver to many elderly individuals and a nurturing nanny to countless children. Her rare ability to connect across generations was a gift to all who knew her, offering comfort, support, and unconditional love. She experienced both ends of life with grace and empathy, always putting others before herself.

Though she wore many hats, her favorite title by far was “Granny.” Her greatest joy came from being part of her grandson’s life, embracing every moment with love, laughter, and patience.

Susan found peace in life’s simple pleasures, reading a good book, eating ice cream in bed, tending lovingly to her flowers, and enjoying quiet mornings on her veranda, a place of reflection and joy.

Her legacy of compassion, strength, and unwavering dedication to others will live on through all the lives she touched. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
