Susan Green, age 75, of Marcus, Iowa (formerly of Mapleton, Iowa) passed away on Tuesday, March 4, 2025, at her residence of Marcus, Iowa.
A Come and Go Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August, 9, 2025, beginning at 11:00 a.m. at the Smithland Fire Station of Smithland, Iowa.

Susan (Martin) Green was born August 20, 1949, in Mapleton, Iowa, to parents Ralph and Lavonne “Voni” (Cooper) Martin. She graduated with the Westwood High School class of 1967. Susan married Louis “Louie” Green on September 4, 1993. She will be remembered by all who knew her as a loving daughter, wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend.
She is survived by her children Jason (Shauna) Yockey, Spencer (Trisha) Yockey, Tony (Aimee) Green, and Scott (Stacey) Green; grandchildren Tony (Jackie) Heisterkamp, Taylor (Taylor) Yockey, Samantha (Dan) Reno, Bryce (Amy) Bishop, Brittney Yockey, and Alexandria Yockey; great-grandchildren Nora Reno, Kennedy Reno, Ember Deming, Spencer Deming, and Ward Yockey; and her sister Vicki (Joe) Evans.
She was preceded in death by her parents Ralph and Voni Martin; husband Louie Green; and sister Michelle Dort.
