Steven Whitcomb

August 5, 2025 at the age of 83. Predeceased by his first wife, Victoria (Gordon) Whitcomb; second wife, Fe (Bernabe) Whitcomb; parents, Lawrence and Alice Whitcomb; sister, Carol Berliner. Survived by daughter, Mintra (James) Brueckl; brothers, Robert (Harriet) Whitcomb and Keith (Jo Ann) Whitcomb; grandson, Naka Brueckl; sister-in-law, Teresita Cervas; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Steve retired from teaching for the Rochester City School District. He later went into banking for 14 years and had a strong interest in investing. He will be remembered for his passion for cars and traveling, including 13 cruises. He will be missed by all who loved him.

Friends may call to the funeral chapel (2305 Monroe Ave.) Tuesday, August 12th from 4-6 pm, with a Celebration of Life to immediately follow at 6 pm. Interment will be at the convenience of the family at the Lake Luzerne Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation in Steve’s name to Wounded Warrior Project.
