Steven Morin
. Woodstock – Steven C. Morin, husband of Lori Ann Morin, suddenly passed away at home on Sunday, August 10, 2025. He was 65 years old.
Steven was born in Hartford, CT on September 27th 1959 to Gilbert D. Morin and the late Marie Therese (Hebert) Morin. He worked his entire 47-year career at Konica Minolta, where he originally worked alongside his father, retiring last July.
Steven was a true outdoorsman. He found joy in fly fishing and hunting, particularly duck and pheasant. His time outdoors was made even more special by the company of his springer spaniels, all of whom he proudly trained himself—his most beloved being Rigsby.
At home, Steven spent countless hours in his workshop, crafting furniture and completing home improvement projects. Many family members still treasure pieces of his handmade furniture, his final project being a bookshelf for his grandson, Jake. Each piece contains a handwritten note, sharing what he did that day and where he was in life—a lasting symbol of his strong work ethic, attention to detail, and creativity.
In addition to his father and wife, Steven is survived by his two sons, Kyle and Zachary Morin, and their wives, Amber and Lucy Morin, and Kyle and Amber’s son Jake. He also leaves behind his sister, Janet, and her husband David, as well as his brother Dave and his wife Debbie. He was predeceased by his mother and a niece, Karissa.
In lieu of formal services, a celebration of Steven’s life will be planned at a later date. As per his wishes, his ashes will be spread at his favorite places to run his dogs. The family will then gather at Henry’s—his favorite childhood pizza place—for dinner. Finally, in a lasting nod to his humor, a small portion of his ashes will be placed in a speed bump so he can, in his words, “be a pain in the ass forever.”
