Steven Charles “Steve” Mack, 67, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 22, 2025 at his home in Palatka surrounded by his three loving children, Stefanie, Susan, and Steven, and his loyal dogs, LeBron and Lou.

A native of Chicago, Illinois, Steve had resided in Florida for more than 30 years and enjoyed the “Sunshine State” outdoors for its sunshine and abundance of water-related activities. He enjoyed hunting, sailing on the river, hockey games, and spending time with his grandchildren.

Steve was a devout Christian man and often read and kept meaningful notes and words of wisdom in his Bible. Others found his words inspiring and uplifting, and he would never hesitate to give the shirt off his back to those in need.

A skilled craftsman, he built and operated a successful construction company over the course of 25+ years.

Steve is survived by his son, Steven Mack, Jr.; two daughters, Stefanie Mack and Susan Redding; brothers, John Mack and Paul Mack; and grandchildren, Cooper Redding, Demi Mack, Baelei Redding, Weston Mack and Adelynn Conklin.

Calling hours will be from 5 – 7 pm, Friday, May 30, 2025 at 2103 Kirby Street in Palatka.
