Shirley Muehlberger Teets

Shirley M. (Millhime)Muehlberger Teets, 90, of Lehighton, formerly of Catasauqua, passed away on Wednesday, April 16, 2025, at The Palmerton. She was the wife of the late Frederick Muehlberger and the late Robert H. Teets.

Born in Catasauqua, she was the daughter of the late Leroy and Lillian (Hoffman) Millhime. 

She was a 1952 graduate of Catasauqua High School. Shirley was an Administrative Assistant at the former Fuller Company

She was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Northampton and was an active member of the former St. Paul’s Lutheran Church of Catasauqua.

Shirley enjoyed knitting and sewing and was a fan of Penn State and the Cowboys. She truly loved her family and was a great mother and grandmother. She will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by daughters Kay Muehlberger; Laurie, wife of Lou Perna; stepson Randy Teets and wife Cindi; stepdaughter, Lois, wife of Dennis Hower, grandchildren, Elizabeth Flynn, Juliet Hower, Sarah Teets and Jeff Teets. She was predeceased by sister Elaine Deily and stepson Jeffrey Teets.

A Viewing will be held on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, from 10-11 a.m. at Brubaker Funeral Home, Inc., 234 Walnut Street, Catasauqua, PA. A funeral service officiated by Pastor Gary L. Walbert will commence in the parlor at 11:00 a.m.
