Sheriff’s Office advises of motorist delays due to large demonstration in downtown Carson City

The Carson City Sheriff’s Office is advising motorists should anticipate delays Saturday afternoon through the downtown area due to a large demonstration happening on Carson Street in front of the Carson City Capitol Building and Legislative Building.

The demonstration is organized by 50501 and is happening in cities across the nation. The Carson City demonstration began at around 10 a.m. and is expected to continue until 3 p.m. The sheriff’s office says motorists along Carson Street through downtown can anticipate delays and should adjust travel routes accordingly.
