Sandra “Sandy” Kay Fracasso, age 79, of Columbus, Ohio passed away Monday, November 3, 2025, at Country View of Sunbury following a long journey with dementia. She was born on April 10, 1946, in Columbus, Ohio to the late Robert and Martha Smiley.
On February 1, 1965, she married Lucien Fracasso. Together they shared 58 wonderful years of marriage.
Sandy was a member of The Mustang Club. She enjoyed attending car shows and loved boating at Lake Erie. She was a caring, kind lady who will be deeply missed by all who were blessed to know her.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Pam (Don) Decker and Paula (Lee) Pack; grandchildren, Ben Decker and Alyssa (Billy) McVeigh; great-grandchild, Will McVeigh; sisters, Shirley Gregory and Linda Wilcox; and her dog, Addie.
Sandy was preceded in death by her husband, Lucien Fracasso and her son, Paul Fracasso.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Country View of Sunbury for their care and compassion.
Friends are welcome to call on Friday, November 14, 2025, from 4:00 P.M. – 6:00 P.M. at Snyder Funeral Homes, DeVore Chapel, 637 North State Route 61, Sunbury, Ohio 43074. Please dress casually per the family’s request. Private burial will follow.
