Samuel Beauchamp Sr.
Samuel Hart Beauchamp Sr., 92, of Clear Spring, MD, passed away Saturday, June 21, 2025, at Farhney Keedy Nursing Home in Boonsboro, MD.
Born May 16, 1933, in Big Pool, MD, he was the son of the late Lloyd Beauchamp and Ethel (Hart) Bachtell.
Samuel was a 1951 graduate of Clear Spring High School and a veteran of the US Army, where he was in the 10th infantry division serving in the Korean War.
He was a member of the Bridge of Life Church in Hagerstown and retired from Mack Truck as a machine operator. In his spare time, he enjoyed woodworking, oil painting, and home improvements.
Samuel is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Wilma Jean (Nutter) Beauchamp; son, Samuel H. Beauchamp Jr. and wife, Heike, of Newville, PA; and two grandsons, Lt. Cmdr. Samuel H. Beauchamp III and Janosch Beauchamp.
In addition to his parents, Samuel was preceded in death by a daughter, Julie Harber, and a sister, Betty Jane Gantz.
There will be no viewing or visitation.
Graveside services will be held on Friday, June 27, 2025, at 11 a.m. at Shanktown Cemetery in Big Pool, MD with miliary honors.
