Sam Christopher Veals

Sam Christopher Veals, 36, of Knoxville, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, October 1, 2025. He had a true and personal love for God, one that wasn’t defined by buildings or pews, but by the way he carried Christ in his heart. Sam found peace and strength in worshipping Jesus in his own way, and his faith shown through in the life he lived and the love he gave. Those who knew him could see that his relationship with the Lord was real, steady, and deeply rooted, leaving behind a legacy of faith that will never be forgotten.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Sam Veals, Jr. and Vicky Wooten; sister, Nicole Veals; and his grandparents, Mildred and Sam Veals, Sr.

Sam is survived by his children, Sam, Saylor, and Stormy Veals; sisters, Kristy Wilbur, Tiffany Bright (Chris), and Samantha Veals (Jason); brother, Jesse Ward; nieces and nephews, Trinity Veals, Triston Lakin, Skyler Middleton, Alana Middleton, Alexis Middleton, Journey Latham, Peyton Will, Wyatt Baker, and Mason Veals; many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 PM Friday, October 10th at Atchley Funeral Home, 122 Peacock Court, Seymour, TN 37865.
