Ruth Wolff

RUTH MAE WOLFF (FELLION), 95 formerly of Amberg, WI passed away peacefully on Friday July 25, 2025 at the Iron River Care Center in Iron River, MI. She was born on December 20, 1929 in Laona, WI to Henry and Maybelle (James) Fellion. Ruth enjoyed needlework, sewing, gardening, fishing, cooking and canning. Some of her many skills included trimming trees, peeling poplar, construction and farming. Through all her talents and skills and things she was involved in, her family was most important to her. She took care of her kids and husband well. Ruth was faithful to the church and was actively involved in teaching children and volunteering. Every summer she looked forward to visits to the farm from the nieces and nephews from the city.

Ruth is survived by her daughter-in-law: Judith Wolff; daughter: Diane Wontor; son: Daniel (Dorothy) Wolff; daughter: Virginia (Bryan) Sanders; brother: Bruce (Karen) Fellion; brother: Terrance (Carolyn) Fellion; sisters-in-law: Sharon Fellion and Norma Pavlowski; brother-in-law: Tom Horn. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; 8 great-great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Ruth preceded in death by her husband: Otto Wolff Sr.; son: Gary Wolff Sr.; parents: Henry & Maybelle Fellion; brothers: Paul (Blanche) Fellion and James Fellion; sister: Clara (Steve) Stevenson; grandson: Gary Wolff Jr.; and sons-in-law: LeRoy Senn and Bob Wontor.

Visitation will be held at Christian Fellowship Church in Wausaukee, WI on Friday August 1, 2025 from 2:00 pm until time of Funeral Service at 3:00 pm. Burial will follow in the Amberg Cemetery. Anderson Diehm Funeral Home, Stephenson, MI is assisting the Wolff family with arrangements.

The family would like to thank the staff at Iron River Care Center for the great care they gave Ruth during her time there.
