Ruth Ronen
Ruth Ronen, Mother and Grandmother, passed away peacefully on 11/28/2024 at the age of 76 at her home in Monroe Twp NJ.
Born in Haifa Israel, Ruth passed away surrounded by her beloved close family, after a happy and fulfilled life, enriched by her kids and grandkids, who were at the epicenter of her joy and love, and by the extended family across the US and Israel.
She had a successful career as a biology high school teacher, biology lab analyst, and as an expert in automation of library systems in the Technion Institute of Technology in Israel. In the US, she continued her work at Annenberg Research Institute, UPenn, Brookdale College, and the Consortium of Middlesex Libraries LMxAC/STELLA. She earned two master’s degrees, Master of Biology Engineering and Master of Library Science.
Ruth will be remembered as the core and the source of bonding power of the extended family, kids, grandkids, nieces and nephews, cousins, all in-laws and their relatives across different continents. She was the magnet that pulled in everyone. There was no holiday she didn’t orchestrate as extended family gathering to celebrate and enjoy, a family gathering surrounded by love and warmth.
Ruth vigilantly was looking for opportunities to help and care for others, and improve their lives, offering advice, drawn from her life experience, her meticulous thorough research, clever intellect, well-grounded life knowledge, and her natural curiosity, organizational skills, her empathy and compassion for others. She will be remembered by those who reflected on occasion how they marvel at certain unforgettable moments with her, or her valuable advice that improved their life, which they will forever keep dear to their heart.
After retirement she joined various local clubs, became an avid card games player, and coordinator teaching friends the art of a game, then sharing with them the joy and the brain teaser challenge of a card game.
