Ruth Bourget
Ruth A. Bourget, 72, of Boyd, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully in her home on September 12, 2025. Ruth was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.
She was born September 16, 1952, to Bernard and Henrietta Anders. She married her high school sweetheart, John Bourget, and they were happily married for 51 years.
Ruth enjoyed being active, swimming, spending time at the cabin, and taking trips with friends and family. She adored her grandchildren, and her heart was fullest whenever they were around. Ruth was exceptionally artistic and used her creative talents to express her love for those around her. She gave generously her time and talents and was devoted to serving others, including her church. Her deep and abiding faith guided her and provided her with the courage to find peace throughout her cancer journey.
She is survived by her husband John Bourget; daughters, Erica Bourget of Seattle, WA, Holly (Brad) Hoerth of Kiel, WI, and Leslie (Matt) Ironside of Wisconsin Rapids, WI; six grandchildren Arianna and Hayden Hoerth and Mason, Franklen, Madison and Lilly Ironside; siblings Donna Jean Pachaud, Kathy (Bill) Dixon, Dianne (Don) Webber, Rodney (Jean) Anders, Chris (Wayne) Lechleitner, and Kim (Chris) Cesafsky; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
Ruth is preceded in death by her parents, Bernard and Henrietta (Licht) Anders of Boyd, WI, sister, Donna Mae Mitchell of Boyd, WI, and brother, Gerald Anders of Sheldon, WI.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 am on Saturday, September 20th 2025 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church Boyd, WI. with Father William Felix officiating.
A Memorial Visitation will be held from 9:30-11:30 am on Saturday morning at the Church. There will be a luncheon in the church basement that all are invited to attend.
Private Family Inurnment will be at St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery, Boyd, WI. at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations will be made to Watermark Missions.
