Russell T. Perry, 93, of Somers Point, NJ went home to be with his Lord on Friday, October 10, 2025 at his home surrounded by family.
Born in Atlantic City, NJ to the late Thomas A. and Pearl (nee Weeks) Perry. He was a graduate of Pleasantville High School Class of 1952.
Mr. Perry had worked as a milkman for Wilson and Abbott Dairies in Atlantic City, serving the Ventnor and Chelsea Heights area. When the home delivery portion of the milk industry was over, he took a job as a delivery driver for Formica Dry Cleaners in Ventnor for a number of years then became a Stock Person for Starn’s Shop Rite in Somers Point until retiring in 1994.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife: Elaine (nee Riley) Perry in 2002 and his sister Gail Riel of Wisconsin in 2005. He is survived by his sister-in-law, Marion Mitchell of Pittsburgh, Pa.
Surviving also are his children: Ken (Hope) Perry, Donna (Karl) Geisinger, Wendy (Michael) Sullivan, six grandchildren: Erik (Elizabeth) Geisinger, Paul (Gabrielle) Brown, Ryan Brown, Andrew Brown, Jack Perry and Laura Perry and three great grandchildren: Jude Geisinger, Claire Geisinger and Madison Brown plus many nieces and nephews.
A Viewing will be held at Coastal Christian 2577 Tilton Rd, Egg Harbor Township, NJ 08234 October 20th From 10am until 11am Service will be held at 11am with burial to follow at Laurel Memorial Park 2301 English Creek Ave. Egg Harbor Township, NJ 08234
