Roxanne Hatty

Roxanne Marie Hatty, age 44, of Howell, Michigan, passed away peacefully on October 11, 2025, surrounded by the love of her devoted family.

Born on November 1, 1980, Roxanne was the beloved daughter of Lloyd and Gail Henrion and the cherished sister of Rachel. She grew up in a home filled with love, laughter, and faith—values that would shape the woman she became.

Roxanne was a proud graduate of Divine Child High School in Dearborn, Class of 1999. She went on to earn her undergraduate degree from Michigan State University and later achieved her Master’s degree from the University of Michigan. Dedicated to education and her faith, Roxanne spent several years teaching at Divine Child and later at St. Patrick School in Brighton, where she inspired countless students with her kindness, intelligence, and passion for learning.

Fate intervened when Roxanne met the love of her life, Eric Hatty, on a blind date. The two quickly formed an unshakable bond and were married on May 21, 2004, at Divine Child Catholic Church in Dearborn. Together, they built a beautiful life and raised five beloved children: James, Samantha, Sarah, Sylvia, and Jude. Roxanne’s family was her greatest joy and proudest accomplishment. She poured her heart into motherhood, embodying patience, strength, and unconditional love.

Roxanne’s faith was the foundation of her life. She found strength, peace, and purpose through her devotion to God. Outside of her professional and family life, she enjoyed reading, staying active, and sharing good meals and great conversations with Eric. She also loved traveling with her family and creating cherished memories on their adventures together. Known for her grace and impeccable style, Roxanne had a fondness for her favorite designers, Louis Vuitton and Lilly Pulitzer, and always carried herself with warmth and elegance.

To those who knew her, Roxanne was more than a wife, mother, daughter, sister, or teacher—she was a light. Her gentle spirit, radiant smile, and steadfast love left an impression on every life she touched.

Roxanne will be deeply missed and forever remembered by her loving husband, Eric Hatty; their children, James, Samantha, Sarah, Sylvia, and Jude; her father, Lloyd Henrion; her sister, Rachel (John) Duffy; her parents-in-law Mark and Theresa Hatty; and nieces and nephews Kelsey, Kaitlin, Alex, and Carley Duffy; and many extended family members, friends, colleagues, and students whose lives were enriched by her presence.

Roxanne is preceded in passing by her beloved mother, Gail Henrion.

Her love will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her.
