Roxanna Kay Richmeier, age 67, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Saturday, July 26, 2025.

Roxie was born on September 21, 1957, in Garden City, KS, to Jack & Shirley (Funk) Flowers. In 1976, she married Darrell Binns and they had four children together. She was a stay-at-home mother and had an in-home daycare. She later worked as a CNA and then as a para for the Garden City school district. In 2012, she married Maynard Richmeier, and they were absolute soul mates living a wonderful life together.

Roxie was a very faithful, caring, compassionate woman. She put God first in all she did and loved her family unconditionally. She truly loved like Jesus.

Roxie enjoyed spending time with all her grandkids, baking, crafting, and so much more.

Scrapbooking was her hobby; she made countless photo albums. She enjoyed traveling, camping, spending time with friends and family, and attending church praising the Lord.

Survivors include her husband Maynard Richmeier; children Kelly (Michael) Schulz, Stephanie Binns, Holly (Cerrone) Herrera, Caleb (Tianna) Binns, Nick (Kara) Richmeier, Nolan (Kirstin) Richmeier; her mother Shirley Flowers Saloga; siblings Kevin (Tammy) Flowers and Becky Mills. Her grandchildren include Braden, Joslyn, Paige, Mason, Isaac, Alex, Saben, Ellie, Colt, Huxley, & Rosalie. Two great-grandchildren, Swayde and Blair; and many nieces & nephews.

She is preceded in death by her father Jack Flowers, and grandmother Waneta Puckett.

Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, August 1, 2025, at First Assembly of God in Garden City with Pastor MacKenzie Witzke officiating. Burial will follow at Valley View Cemetery in Garden City. Public visitation will be at Garnand Funeral Home, 412 N. 7th St., Garden City, Kansas on Thursday, July 31, 2025, from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The family suggest memorials given to Friends of Lee Richardson Zoo in care of the funeral home.
