Graveside services for Mr. Ronald Harrison Maine, 81, of Hermon Street, DeKalb Junction will be held at 11:00 AM  on Thursday, July 10, 2025 in Hermon Cemetery with Pastor Charles Colton of Pilgrim Holiness Church officiating.   Ronald passed Sunday, July 6, 2025 at Canton-Potsdam Hospital.

Memorial contributions are suggested to Pilgrim Holiness Church, 3639 Main Street, Russell, NY 13684.

Ronald was born the son of the late Harrison Milton Maine and Carrie May (Cross) Maine in Gouverneur NY on January 16, 1944.

Ronald attended DeKalb schools and was a self-employed Grounds Keeper for area families.  He also cared for the home his grandfather built as well as caring for his mother before she needed 24 hour care.

He is survived by a number of cousins and dear friends.

Ronald enjoyed working with wood especially firewood.  He attended church dinners, listened to music on the radio, watched a little TV and loved his two cats.  He was a member of Pilgrim Holiness Church where his mother used to sing and played the organ.  He had many friends there.
