(January 21, 1960 – July 5, 2025)
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Roman Lopez Jr., who passed away on July 5, 2025, at the age of 65.
Born in Saint Paul, Minnesota, the son of Roman and Helen Lopez. He was a loving father to Anita (Josh), Anthony (Kelcii), and Alex, and a proud grandfather to five grandchildren.
Roman was a dedicated journeyman and plumber, known for his loving, generous, and selfless nature. He was an avid Minnesota sports fan and had a deep love for softball, both as a player and a fan. His warmth, humor, and loyalty touched the lives of all who knew him.
Proceeded in death by his parents and sister Rosalind Reimers. He is survived by his siblings: Rachel (John) Louie, Fran (Gregg), Roger (Heather) along with many extended family members and friends who will miss him dearly.

There will be a balloon release in Roman’s honor. Minnesota Vikings attire is welcome but not required.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to his children, in honor of the love and guidance he gave them throughout his life.
We will miss him dearly and cherish the memories we have of him.
