Robert Lee Brewer, 75, of Winchester, Kentucky, passed peacefully into the arms of the Lord on Saturday, July 26, 2025, at Clark Medical Center, following an extended illness.
Born on May 11, 1950, Robert was the son of the late Carl E. and Juanita King Brewer of Wolfe and Powell Counites. He grew up on a farm in Kentucky surrounded by a large, loving family of nine children, and carried the values of hard work, faith, and family throughout his life.
Robert worked as a dedicated maintenance technician at Lockheed-Martin in the Avon facility before retiring. He had a passion for construction and electrical work, and a natural gift for leadership and supervision. His hands built and repaired many things, but his greatest work was nurturing the relationships that defined his life.
He shared a special companionship with Marlena Richardson of Winchester, whose devotion and care brought joy and strength to his later years. Robert is survived by his son, Robert Lee (Mary) Brewer II of Scott County; his daughter, Bobbie Sue (Michael) Baker of Winchester; grandchildren, Camren Brewer, Brianna Brewer, Jacquelyn Taylor, Amanda Taylor, Roxanne (Aaron) Wilson; great grandchildren, Robert Wills, Rylie Wilson, Alexander Wilson, Ginevieve Taylor as well as many stepchildren, nieces, nephews, and an extended family who found comfort and support in the circle of love created around Marlena.
Robert is also survived by his siblings: John C. (Gaid Allen Brewer) and Anthony (Natasha) Brewer of Stanton; Edna Jean Bradley and Liz Brewer Barry of Stanton; Evalene Kennedy of Irvine; and Wilma Gayle (John) Troxell of Corbin. He was preceded in death by his brother’s Paul Wayne Brewer of Mt. Sterling and Ron Brewer (Sheree) of Vancleve, Mississippi.
Robert’s life was marked by quiet strength, humble service, and steadfast care for those he loved. He will be deeply missed but forever remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
John 14:27 Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
