Richard Spicer Jr.

Richard “Jake” Jacob Spicer Jr 73 yrs old of Merry Hill NC went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ Tuesday July 29, 2025. He was born on September 24, 1951 to Richard and Charlotte Spicer. He had worked as a crabber in his young years and owned his own tree service business as well. In the recent years he drove for Uber and Lyft. He loved working out in his yard and sailing. He was a man of faith. He attended a weekly Bible study every Monday with a group of his friends. He loved to watch preaching on TV too. 

He was preceded in death by both his parents, Richard and Charlotte Spicer. He is survived by his loving wife of 22 yrs, Kimberly Beth Spicer of Merry Hill NC. Two sister-in-laws and their families. Garyetta(Spence) Powell of Cleveland TN and Pepper(Ray Mahan)Hamilton of Rossville GA. Nieces Sydney Sawyer of Rossville GA and Amanda Powell of Cleveland TN. Nephews GaryPowell of Cleveland TN and Timothy(Samantha)Colston JR of St. Paul MN. Great nieces Mayleigh Powell of Cleveland TN, Eleanor Smith of Rossville GA and Charlotte Colston of St. Paul MN. Great nephews Caleb Troop of Cleveland TN, Landon Powell of Cleveland TN and Theodore Colston of St. Paul MN. 

He will be greatly missed.
