Richard Rawley

Richard Jon Rawley, 71, of Bicknell, IN, passed away Tuesday July 22, 2025 at the Good Samaritan Hospital. Richard was born September 14, 1953 in Vincennes the son of Ross and Dora Strahley Rawley. He was a graduate of North Knox High School and a graduate of Ivey Tech. He was a salesman in the gun department of Dunham Sports and held a membership at Bicknell Connect Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and anything outdoors. He was thankful to the customers who he assisted at Dunham Sports Gun Department.

He is survived by his cousins, Kaye Melcho of Bicknell, IN, Stephanie “Sam” Strahley of Bicknell, IN and several other cousins.

Funeral Services will be held at Duesterberg-Fredrick Wampler Shaw Chapel with Pastor Mark Reed officiating on Monday July 28, 2025 at 1:00 PM. He will be laid to rest next to his parents at Asbury Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday July 28, 2025 from 10:30 AM until the time of services at 1:00 PM at the funeral home. Memorial contributions can be made in his memory to Bicknell Connect Church. Duesterberg-Fredrick Funeral Home is honored to assist Richard’s family during their time of loss.
