RICHARD M. ONTKO, age 83, of Parma a devoted pray-er of the Divine Mercy Chaplet, gifted a holy and peaceful death on October 6, 2025. Beloved Husband of Kathleen (Nee ,”Corky” Corrigan) for 62 years. Devoted Father of Richard (Lisa), Eileen (Dr. Song Lee) and Kevin (Jenn). Loving Grandfather of Rachel Cassell (Mike), Ryan Ontko, Claire Sipe (Vincent), Grace, Matthew, Catherine, Anne Marie, Elizabeth Lee, John, Mallory, and Tommy Ontko. Proud Great Grandfather of Cameron and Kacey Cassell. Brother of Kenneth (Jean) and Allen (Bonnie). Like a brother to cousin Charlotte Shrock. Brother-in Law of Maureen Tesar (Butch), both deceased, Peggy Malloy (Jim), Joyce Biada (Dave), James P. Corrigan, Jr. (Lisa) and many nieces and nephews. Dearest friend of Rich and Marty Brickman and family. He was a man who cherished the outdoors, fishing and hunting, was the “King of Kuchen” and all things sweet, he also loved getting to Church at least an hour early, sometimes several times per week. Friends may call at the Babbit-Busch Funeral Home, 9350 Ridge Rd., North Royalton on Sunday, October 12th from 3-7 p.m. Funeral Mass at Holy Family Church, 7367 York Rd., Parma on Monday, October 13th at 11:30 a.m. Please gather directly at the Church. Interment following at Woodvale Cemetery, Middleburg Heights.
