Richard Olinski

On August 1st, 2025 Richard Stanley Olinski passed away peacefully in his sleep. He was born on July 12th, 1947 and lived a hard life in the south side of Chicago. He then moved to Wisconsin in his late 20’s and started his beautiful family.

Rich lived a very full life, especially once he moved to the lake which was his dream. He enjoyed anything outdoors and trips with his family. Later in life he enjoyed being surrounded by his friends and family, crossword puzzles, FOX News, and whiskey.

Rich is survived by his loving wife Patti Olinski, daughters Terra (Jason) Plaisance, Krista (Dylan) Schoeneck, grandchildren Tenley and Kenedi Schoeneck, and Isabel Plaisance, other family and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents Alex and Dorothy Olinski and his sister Sandra Duzynski.

Rich will be deeply missed, but our tears of sadness are also happy tears knowing that he got to spend his final time at home on his own power and in his recliner doing crossword puzzles.

The family extends their gratitude to the dedicated team at Compassus Hospice over the past few months.
