Richard J. Guzior  Age 80, U.S. Air Force Veteran

Richard J. Guzior, 80, of Lemont, IL, was the son of Polish immigrants Louise (nee Kiebala) and Stanley Guzior and had a sister named Kathleen. He was a loving husband to Christine (nee Nakon) for over 50 years and a devoted father to his seven children: Richard (Melissa), Russell (Rachel), Ryan, Charisa, Ronald (Yolanda), Randell, and Carla (Adrian). He was also a proud Papa to 18 grandchildren and is now reunited with his granddaughter, Sarah Jane Guzior. Richard and his wife Christine are the founders and owners of Richard’s Building Supply Co. since 1978. He was a devout Catholic, known for his generosity.

Visitation Tuesday, October 21, 2025, 2-9 p.m. at the Robert J. Sheehy & Sons Funeral Home, 9000 W. 151st Street, Orland Park, IL.

Visitation Wednesday, October 22, 2025, 9:30 a.m. until time of Franciscan Prayer at 11:15 a.m. with Mass of the Resurrection immediately following at 11:30 a.m. at Our Lady of the Woods Church, 10731 W. 131st Street, Orland Park, IL
