Remy Anderson

Our precious angel, Remy Jaxon Anderson, was born on May 20, 2025, in McDowell County, and after nearly three beautiful months of life, he was gently carried into the arms of Jesus on Sunday, August 17, 2025, at his home in Lenoir, NC.

Although Remy’s time here was short-lived, his life was filled with love beyond measure. His sweet laughter, radiant smile, and tender presence brought warmth and joy to every heart that held him. Remy was a tiny soul who left an everlasting imprint, reminding all who loved him of the purest form of love.

As Heaven rejoices upon his arrival, Remy was welcomed by Jesus and his great-great-grandmother, Maude Holland, running through the fields of eternal glory knowing only peace.

Those left to cherish his memory and carry his love forever include his loving mother, McKenzie Anderson (Heriberto Reyes) of Lenoir; grandparents, Joyce Langley (Jason) of Marion and Aniley and (“Chewy”) of Lenoir; great-grandmother, Mary McCoyle of Marion; uncles, Dakota Anderson of Marion, Booters of Lenoir; his aunt Yelina; and his godmothers, Allana and Nancy, both of Lenoir; and a host of extended family and friends who loved him deeply.

A service to celebrate Remy’s precious life will be held on Thursday, August 21, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Westmoreland Funeral Home in Marion, with Rev. Dennis Burleson officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m., in the chapel of Westmoreland Funeral Home.

Though his time here was brief, Remy’s light will continue to shine through the love of his family and all who were touched by his life. He will forever be remembered as a beautiful gift from God, a little angel who now rests safely in Heaven’s embrace. Rawr 🦕
