After three incredible years of sold-out spring events, Dare To Be A Cowboy is thrilled to announce the addition of a Fall Mutton Bustin’ Jackpot to the calendar.
The new event will take place on Saturday, Oct. 25, 2025, at Fuji Park Arena in Carson City, giving even more young aspiring cowboys and cowgirls a chance to ride and shine.
Registration is now open and limited to the first 75 qualified kids — 15 more spots than our traditional spring jackpot. Spots are expected to sell out quickly, so families are encouraged to sign up as soon as possible to secure their child’s entry.
The Mutton Bustin’ Jackpot is designed to give young riders a hands-on taste of rodeo, take home a memory that’ll stick, and hopefully spark a lifelong love for the sport.
Qualifications include specific age and weight requirements — participants must be between 5 and 7 years old and under 65 pounds — to ensure every contestant’s safety. Full event details and registration are available at DTBAC.com.
