Rebecca Charles

Rebecca Lynn Keene Charles was born on February 27, 1951 at Pikeville Medical Center in Pikeville, Ky to Susie (Horne) Keene and Bruce Keene.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband ; Robert Charles, one grandson; Roberts Franklin Charles, (in laws); Oma and Anthony Charles, Arvil Charles, Bob Cox and Sue Cox Syck, Jack and Sue Charles and Argyle Charles.

She sis survived by her children; Jimmy, Kim and Mark of Raccoon, Ky., Anna Tackett of Huddy, Ky.

Grandchildren; Misty Ratliff, Brandon Charles (Mauricea), Brandy (Mitch) Whitaker, Dalton (Erin) Charles, Kayla Charles and Lara Tackett.  Eight great grandsons – Draven, Slayton, Archer, Gatlin, Deklan, Beckham, Blair and Landon.

In-laws – Linda (Danny) Bevins, Margaret (Hugh) Smith, Francis Charles, Jackie Charles and Curtis Syck.

Her aunts and uncles; Betty Jo Reisner, Johnny Horne, Nora Horne.  Along with lots of nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.

Rebecca spent her years as an education counselor and upon retirement she did volunteer work with different organizations. She is a member of the Grassy Freewill Baptist Church and the womens auxillary.  She also belonged to the Daughter’s of the American Revolution and Nu Chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma Women’s Teachers Society
