Raymond St. Auburn

Raymond M. St. Auburn, age 83, passed away peacefully at his home in Patterson, NY, on May 23, 2025.

Ray was born on June 29, 1941 to his late parents Raymond and Matilda (Watkins) St. Auburn, in Poughkeepsie, NY. He was predeceased by his brother Michael St. Auburn.

He married his high school sweetheart, Bonnie (Kirk) on August 24, 1963 in Carmel, NY. They were together for 57 years until Bonnie’s passing in 2020.

Ray is survived by his children Tracey St. Auburn (Roland Hlawaty) and Raymond St. Auburn, and his daughter-in-law Terri Nadeau, as well as his cherished grandchildren: Erich, Jocelyn, Alex, and Marlane.

Ray was a retired carpenter and contractor. During his long career, he built or renovated countless homes in Putnam, Westchester and Dutchess Counties. After his retirement, Ray devoted himself to his home, yard and his elaborate home workshop.

His memory will be cherished and kept alive by the many lives he touched.

Visitation will be held from 9:00am to 10:00am on Wednesday, May 28, 2025 at Cargain Funeral Homes, Inc., 10 Fowler Avenue, Carmel, NY 10512.

A Prayer Service to celebrate Ray’s life will begin promptly at 10:00am following the visitation at Cargain Funeral Homes, Inc., 10 Fowler Avenue, Carmel, NY 10512.

A private cremation will take place after the services.
