Raymond “Ray” Gagne

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Raymond “Ray” Henry Gagne, a resident of Dawson Creek, British Columbia, on Sunday, October 26, 2025, at the age of 85 years.

Ray lead an interesting life from trouble shooting in the hotel business, home construction, drug and alcohol counsellor, writer and administrative executive director to name a few. Anyone who knew Ray knew that he had a lifelong thirst for knowledge. It didn’t matter if he was reading Webster’s encyclopedia or researching on the computer as long as he could learn something new everyday.

Ray is predeceased by his son Sean; parents Joe and Lydia; sister Janet; brothers Marcel and Gene.

Ray is survived by his loving spouse Linda; sons Dean (Katherine), Craig (Cheryl); stepdaughter Connie; grandchildren Victoria, Isabel, Elizabeth, Michelle, Austin, Ashton and Dakota; and brother Lee; as well as many extended family and friends.

A celebration of life for Ray will be held at a later date.
