Phillip Terrill
- June 30, 2025

Phillip E. Terrill, age 92, went home to be with the Lord on June 25, 2025.
Phil was born on August 17, 1932 in Cedar Rapids, IA. He served in the Army as a Supply Sergeant. After leaving the Army, Phil accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior and felt the call to become a pastor and then attended Northwestern College and later Denver Seminary.
On November 29, 1957 Phil married Doris Drake in Cedar Rapids, IA. Together, while raising their family, they served Baptist churches in Milford, Iowa; Falls City, Nebraska; Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin; Aitkin, Minnesota; and Chamberlain, South Dakota. After retirement, filling the pulpit and serving as interim pastor for many churches brought joy and purpose.
After moving to Chisago City, not only did serving opportunities continue by being Tenant President at Point Pleasant Heights, leading Bible studies, small groups, and mentoring continue; Phil was blessed to find love again with Pamela Lundt. They were married on June 19, 2021.
Phil will be remembered for his faithful service to the Lord, being a man of integrity, having a sense of humor, loyalty to his Christian faith and his family. Reading, walking outside, fishing, and socializing while supporting and encouraging others, and winter trips to Sebring, FL have brought joy and relaxation.
Phil is preceded in death by his first wife of 58 years, Doris. Brothers Ralph and Jerry.
