Philip Peterson

Philip Britt “Phil” Peterson, 87, passed away on March 26, 2025 at his home in Lindsborg, KS. Phil was born on March 21, 1938 in Hays, KS to the late Karl P. and Mary L. (Britt) Peterson.

Phil worked as a truck driver. Additionally, Phil was a member of Teamsters Union and Smoky Valley Baptist Church.

He is preceded in death by his parents, 2 daughters, and 2 brothers.

Philip is survived by his wife, Evelyn Peterson; 9 children, 26 grandchildren, and 30 great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held 3:00 p.m., Sunday, April 6, 2025 at Marquette City Cemetery with Pastor Jeff Quigley officiating.
