Peter James Clemenzi, 71, of Danvers and formerly Topsfield, passed away on Wednesday, August 24, 2025.
Born in Beverly on February 23, 1954, Peter was the son of the late Peter and Rose (Nardella) Clemenzi. A proud graduate of Beverly High School, Class of 1972, he went on to earn his Bachelor of Science degree from Bentley College in 1976.
Peter began his career as a successful sales executive at Atlantic Papers in Beverly during the 1970s and ’80s. Driven by an entrepreneurial spirit, he founded Laser Perfect Products, which he later sold to Corporate Express. In the early 2000s, after selling his business, Peter shifted his focus, full-time, to real estate and property management.
A true host at heart, Peter cherished time spent with family and friends. His historic Topsfield home-affectionately known as the “French Andrews House,” built in 1675-was the setting for countless gatherings. With its lush landscaping, black-bottom pool, hot tub, waterfall, sound system, and the ever-loyal Elmo by his side, Peter created a space full of warmth, laughter, and memories.
Peter was also deeply committed to giving back. He served for many years on the board of Strongest Link, which later became Aids Action and eventually part of Fenway Health. His fundraising efforts helped raise thousands of dollars in support of individuals impacted by HIV/AIDS.
Peter is survived by his brothers: Don Clemenzi and his wife Gayle, Gary Clemenzi and his former wife Barbara, and John Clemenzi and his wife Kathy; as well as many loving nieces, nephews, and cherished friends. He was predeceased by his parents and his brother Rob Clemenzi.
His funeral service will be at Campbell Funeral Home, 525 Cabot St. Beverly, on Saturday, September 13, 2025 at 10AM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting hours also at Campbell Funeral Home, Friday, September 12 from 4 to 7PM. Burial will be at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Brimbal Ave, Beverly.
