Pedro Guzman “Pete”
Pedro T. Guzman, lovingly known as Pete, passed away on July 13, 2025, surrounded by the love of his family. Born on Christmas Day in 1938, Pete spent his life giving the gifts of kindness, wisdom, and unwavering devotion to those he held dear.
A devoted husband to Raquel Guzman, Pete built a life grounded in love, respect, and shared laughter. As a father, he was a steadfast pillar to Tera Guzman, Pedro Guzman, and Vivian Rawson, instilling in them values that continue to echo through generations.
Pete was also the proud grandfather of Bianca Hennessy, Camille Rawson, Isabella Ledford, and Michelle Guzman, and great-grandfather to Sophia, Johnny, Lola, and Julian—each of whom brought him immense joy and purpose. His legacy lives on through their stories, smiles, and the gentle strength he passed down.
Pete was a devout Catholic, whose faith guided his every word and action. He was deeply active in his community, ministering to those incarcerated with compassion and care, and selflessly teaching English to Spanish-speaking communities in the spirit of empowerment and love.

Pete’s legacy lives on through the kindness he shared, the faith he embodied, and the love that radiates in the lives of those he touched. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
