Pauline “Polly” Smith
Pauline (Polly) Fay Waters Baughman Smith was born on September 14, 1932, near the community of Light Arkansas. She passed from this life on November 7, 2025, at home with her family at her bedside.
Polly was the matriarch of a large family and enjoyed traveling, gardening, reading and playing cards and dominoes with friends and family. Polly’s life and charitable works, as well as her unwavering faith in GOD was a shining example to everyone that was privileged to have known her.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Larry M. Smith, her parents, several siblings and one daughter, Elaine Baughman Bradley. Her passing is mourned by her siblings, Larry R. Waters, Clara Prince, Trish Phillips, and Betty Sue Ogier, her children Charles Baughman (wife Linda), Larry J. Smith (wife Libby), Randy Smith, Lisa Murphy, Greg Smith (wife Mary), Suzie Bartlett, Angie Taylor, and Anita Meredith (husband Terry). Polly will also be greatly missed by her 21 grandchildren, 44 great grandchildren, and 2 great, great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at the Southside Church of Christ in Rogers Arkansas on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. under the direction of Benton County Funeral Home, 306 N. 4th Rogers.
