Paul Welch

Paul “P.K.” Welch, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully on October 5, 2025, in East Liverpool, Ohio, at the age of 79. Born on August 5, 1946, in Hammondsville, Ohio, Paul lived a life full of love, dedication, and service.

Paul spent an impressive 45 years working as a machinist and millwright, where his colleagues admired his unwavering work ethic and remarkable skill. Beyond his dedicated career, he was a proud U.S. Army veteran and served during the Vietnam Conflict, embodying the spirit of valor and resilience.

A man of varied interests, Paul found joy in the great outdoors, where he indulged in shooting, hunting, and outdoor sports. His love for nature was not only a pastime but a way of life that he cherished deeply. He also loved spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Paul was also a member of the American Legion, where he built lasting friendships and connections with fellow veterans. His commitment to his community and country was always paramount, reflecting the values instilled in him by his parents, the late Paul K. Welch Sr. and Blanch (Valentine) Welch.

He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Linda (Smith) Welch, sister Patricia (Welch) Davis, and his devoted parents. He leaves behind a family who will miss him greatly, including his son, Paul K. Welch III (Barbara); his daughter, Tina Welch; his brother, Larry Welch (Tammy); his granddaughters, Haliegh Clutter (Matt Bueno) and Madison Clutter; and his great-grandchildren, Easton and Eli Bueno. Each of them carries forward his legacy of kindness, strength, and perseverance.

In keeping with Paul’s wishes, no formal services are scheduled at this time. A private Celebration of Life will take place later, at a time to be determined. Care Funeral & Cremation has been entrusted with the final arrangements. His family and friends will forever treasure the memories shared and hold dear the lessons he imparted through his life.
