Paul Karls Jr.

Paul Peter “Bud” Karls Jr, born on May 20, 1945 in Woodstock, IL passed away on June 29th 2025 in McHenry, IL at the age of 80. Graduate of Marian Central Catholic HS, class of 1963. Proud veteran of the US Army 1965-1969. 30 years of dedicated service and employment with Commonwealth Edison. He enjoyed his fishing trips to Canada, his hunting trips to Wyoming, and White Sox baseball. 

 He was preceded in death by his father, Paul Peter Karls Sr and his mother Adelia Hapke (maiden) Karls Oeffling. Survived by his son, Matthew William Karls, his daughter Bretta Warren-Kim and six beautiful grandchildren, Brady, Jackson, Griffin, Finn, Asher and Emerson. We will miss you dad. “Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May he rest in peace.”

A visitation will be held at Justen Funeral Home & Crematory located at 3700 W. Charles J. Miller Rd McHenry, IL 60050 on Friday July 18, 2025, from 4:00 to 6:00 pm. Followed by a Celebration after the visitation.
