Patricia Hall

Patricia Lee Hall (nee Mooney), 85, of Palos Hills Illinois, passed away peacefully on April 27, 2023, surrounded by her loving family.  Patricia is survived by her children; John (Wanda) Willard, Terry (Tim) Cichon, Marilee (Leonard) Evans; grandchildren Jennifer, John (Esme), Stephanie (Colin), Brad (Megan), Kimberly (Mark), Ashlee (James), Jeromey (Kat), TJ (Emily); and her 9 beloved great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents John and Opal Mooney, and grandson in-law Vernon Carter.  Patricia was born on December 1, 1937 in Villa Grove, Illinois. She was a graduate of Urbana High School and went on to earn her nursing degree at Parkland College. Patricia also attended the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.  Patricia had a long-term career in service to others that included healthcare as an RN, education as a teacher, social services as a public-aid Case Worker and nursing home administration as a Patient Advocate Administrator.  Patricia had a great love for music, playing piano, singing, dancing and enjoyed traveling. She made many friends and connections sharing her voice and love for music across the internet.  She found solace in reading and literature. Patricia was a gifted writer and became a published poet.  Patricia’s greatest passion was spending time with her beloved children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
