LAFAYETTE ~ Memorial services will be held Saturday, October 25, 2025, at an 11:00 a.m. Liturgy of the Word in Evangeline Memorial Gardens Chapel in Carencro for Patricia Davis, age 62, who passed away Wednesday, October 15, 2025, at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center in Lafayette.
Mrs. Davis was a native of Carencro and a resident of Lafayette. Affectionately known by many as “Smokey,” she was lovingly considered everyone’s grandmother. Her warm heart and welcoming spirit made all who knew her feel like family.
She enjoyed watching NASCAR races, playing video poker, and spending time around the card table, especially when playing her favorite game, Petty Pair. Mrs. Davis will be remembered for her laughter, her kind heart, and the joy she brought to those around her.
Survivors include her husband, John Davis of Lafayette; one son, John Carmouche; one sister, Patrinella Fontenot; and one nephew, Harold Carmouche, Jr.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Nicole Marie Davis; her parents, Joseph Carmouche and Enola Bruno; two brothers, Daniel Carmouche and Harold Carmouche, Sr.; and one sister, Helen Carmouche.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 10:00 a.m. Saturday until service time on Saturday.
