Oliveann (Leaman) McNalley

Beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, Oliveann “Ann” McNalley was welcomed by her Lord and Savior on Monday, September 22, 2025. Age 99 years. The daughter of the late Thomas and Anna (Bachschmidt) Leaman, Oliveann was born on February 14, 1926 in Thomas Twp., Michigan. She married Alan F. McNalley, Sr. on May 19, 1951 at Christ Lutheran Church in Swan Creek Township by the late Rev. Gerhard Cares. He predeceased her on May 13, 2003. Ann was a member of the class of 1943 at Arthur Hill High School and then worked at Consumers Power Company for several years and made her home in Bridgeport. Ann and Alan enjoyed many summers at Leelanau Pines in Traverse City with sons Timothy and Alan Jr. Ann was an active member of Faith Lutheran Church since 1955. After a short time at Consumers, Ann was a stay at home mother and enjoyed her flower and vegetable gardens.
Surviving are two sons and their spouses, Timothy (Cindy) McNalley, Reed City; Alan (Mary) McNalley, Jr., Saginaw; five grandchildren, Matthew (Amanda), Kristin (Mark), Valarie, Jennifer (Adam) and Jeffrey (Brooke); eight-great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. Ann was preceded in death by her daughter, Alana Louise on June 5, 1955; her two sisters, Fern Leaman Minto and Hariette Leaman Haight; her brother, Thomas Howard Leaman; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Walter and Louise (Fischer) McNalley.
Funeral Service will take place at 12:00 Noon on Saturday, September 27, 2025 at Faith Lutheran Church, 4241 Williamson Rd. Pastor Timothy Behnke will officiate. Private interment will take place in Pine Grove Cemetery. Friends may visit at the church on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to Faith Lutheran Church of Bridgeport. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Rd.
