Norma Morris

Norma Jane Collins Morris, age 87 of Williamstown, WV departed this life on October 7, 2025 at the Camden Clark Medical Center, Parkersburg, WV. She was born in Harrisville, WV the youngest daughter and child of Hayward Wesley and Annabelle McGill Collins.

Jane had worked for the Washington County, Ohio, Board of Education as a teachers Aide. She enjoyed birdwatching, gardening, attending Church and genealogy.

She married John F. Morris in 1957 and of that union are three children, two daughters, Rachel J. Shepherd, Parkersburg, WV and Elizabeth A. McCoy, Westminster, SC, one son, J. David Morris (Donna), Williamstown, WV; seven grandchildren, Bethany, Paige, Laura, William, Madison, Grant and Olivia Jane; 12 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by one granddaughter, Amanda Shepherd; 6 sisters Marg, Meriam, Sylvia, Janet, Glenora and Ramona; one brother, Hayward W. Collis Jr; two sons-in-law, Larry Shepherd and Bill McCoy.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, October 11, 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Harrisville I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Harrisville, WV with the Bishop Atwood officiating. Raiguel Funeral Home, Harrisville, WV is assisting the family with the arrangements.
