Norma Lombardi

Entered rest on August 24, 2025 at the age of 95 after a brief illness. Beloved daughter of the late Agostino and ErcolinaLombardi. Adored sister of the late Emma (Al) Questoni, Alma (Joe) Armanini, and Alda Lombardi. Loving aunt of the late Lois (Don) Cordo, Richard (Janet) Questoni, and Betty (Steve) Tarantino. Survived by many grand and great nieces and nephews whom she loved as her own grandchildren.

Norma lived her entire life in South San Francisco. After graduating from South San Francisco High School, she worked for nearly 40 years at F.D. Minucciani Insurance Agency (later Farmer’s Insurance) on Grand Avenue.

Her greatest hobbies were cooking/baking and tending to her large garden. Her family looked forward to her meals and desserts, especially her homemade torta, ravioli and biscotti that were favorites at every holiday. Her garden’s flowers, fruits and vegetables were enjoyed by all. She was seen picking fruit and canning peaches just days prior to her passing.

An avid SF 49er fan and season ticket holder, her greatest memories were attending Superbowl XXIV in 1990 in New Orleans and the many pregame tailgate parties. She had a love for animals, especially the many feral cats who called her garden home as she couldn’t resist feeding them.

Norma has been a long-time member of the Italian-Catholic Federation, Branch # 7, the Italian American Citizens Club, and the SSF Historical Society. She will be missed by her friends at the SSF and San Bruno Senior Citizens Center.

Friends are invited to attend a visitation, Friday September 5, 2025, at 10 AM followed by a liturgy service that will begin at 10:30 AM; Garden Chapel, 885 El Camino Real, South San Francisco. Committal will follow at The Italian Cemetery, 540 F Street, Colma, CA.
