In Loving Memory of Norma Holland

July 21, 1930 – July 8, 2025

It is with deep love and gratitude that we announce the passing of Norma Holland, who departed peacefully on July 8, in Brantford at the age of 94. Born in Nictaux, Nova Scotia in 1930, Norma carried the spirit of the East Coast with her throughout her life. She spent 30 years serving the community through her work at the Brantford Post Office and spend much of her retirement active within the Brantford Senior Center. She was a loving mother to Bruce Holland and Candace BeauSoleil, and a cherished grandmother, great- grandmother, and great-great-grandmother. Her family meant the most to her and she loved them dearly. A lover of words and walking, Norma could often be found with a crossword puzzle or book in hand. She had a sharp wit, a stubborn streak that kept her strong, and a knack for misplacing her glasses in the most unlikely spots. Her quick mind and gentle heart left a lasting impression on all who knew her. A devoted member of her church, Norma’s faith was central to her life. She lived with grace, humility, and a steadfast commitment to her beliefs.

In keeping with her wishes, a small private service will be held with immediate family, and she will be laid to rest back home in Nova Scotia.

Arrangements have been entrusted with Hill and Robinson Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 30 Nelson St., Brantford.
