Nicholas Mullenniex

Nicholas Aaron Mullenniex, 32, of Bellingham, Washington, passed away on July 29th, 2025. Born in Eureka, California, on December 8, 1992, Nicholas was a natural ‘people person’ with a talent for making everyone feel welcome and appreciated. His passion for connecting with others led him to find great joy in the restaurant industry, where he had the opportunity to chat with customers, get to know them, and create unforgettable experiences for them. Beyond his work, Nicholas deeply valued spending quality time with his family and cherished friendships that enriched his life. He found joy in being a dad, exploring nature, embarking on long drives, and engaging in thought-provoking conversations.

Above all, Nicholas was a devoted and loving husband to his wife Naomi and a doting father to his two children, Amelie and Rowan, who were the light of his life. Family was at the center of his life, and he cherished every moment spent with his loved ones. His dedication, love, and warmth made him an exceptional husband and father; his family will forever hold him close in their hearts.

Nicholas is survived by his wife Naomi, and two children, Amelie and Rowan, his parents, Timothy Mullenniex and Anne Mullenniex, his brother Nathan, and sister Sara, as well as uncles and an aunt.

Nicholas was a uniquely warm and compassionate person whose loss will always be felt by the people who knew him. His family and friends will miss his enveloping hugs, inquisitive mind, clever sense of humor, his deep compassion and generosity of spirit, and especially, his huge heart. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends, who cherish the memories of his warmth, love, and kindness.

A memorial service is being held to remember and honor him at Mount Baker Cremation (Jerns Funeral Home), 4131 Hannegan Rd, Suite 106, Bellingham, WA 98226, on Wednesday, August 6th, 2025, from 2 – 4 pm for family and friends who loved him. The family deeply appreciates the outpouring of love and support during this time of great sorrow. Donations in memory of Nick and to help his family should be sent to Naomi Davis (Mullenniex), 5682 Meadow View Ct, Ferndale, WA 98248
