Nathan Prasad

Victor/Sarasota/E. Rochester.  It is with deepest heartbreaking sorrow that Nathan’s family conveys his passing on June 8, 2025. Nathan spent his early childhood in Sarasota, FL, eventually returned to Victor for high school, and lived in East Rochester for 10 years. He had an infinite love of music, animals, self-taught botany, fishing, and carpentry. Nathan no longer has to battle with addiction and its demons. He would be, and his family is, forever grateful to those who resolutely reached out and gave support throughout his fight. Nathan will be remembered for his bright smile, sense of humor, and love of family and friends. Loved ones will always hold fond memories of him playing guitar, singing, and laughing. They will hear him in the music of the breeze and see him in tapestry of the vast landscapes he loved to hike and camp in.

Nathan is predeceased by his father, Dr. Lakshman Prasad. He is survived by his mother Connie Prasad, sister Ricca Ramey (Kyle), and brother Travis Milks (Leah) and Travis’s children. He is also survived by his sister Manju Das (Sohan), sister Poonam Hansen (Brian), sister Pam Puccia (Tony), sister Mina Prasad, brother Anil Prasad, and their children. The family extends a special thank you to family friend Betty Bennett.

A memorial will be held at Anthony Funeral & Cremation in Webster on Saturday, August 2, 2025. Calling hours will be from 1-2pm, and the service will commence at 2pm. In lieu of flowers, the family asks you please consider donating in Nathan’s honor to Open Door Mission, an organization close to their heart (https://opendoormission.com/).
