Myron Dobrowolsky

Myron Dobrowolsky, 91, of Palatine, IL. Army Veteran. Born April 13, 1934 in Ukraine, passed away August 4, 2025.  

Beloved husband of Oksana, nee Smolynsky.  Loving father of Donna Dobrowolsky, MD, Vera Dobrowolsky Fitzgerald, Ksenia (Jerry) Moroko and Yuri (Jennifer) Dobrowolsky. Proud grandfather of Alexander (Hope) Lopez, Krystyna (Aaron Riedford) Lopez, Maxim Moroko, Cassandra Fitzgerald, Victoria Fitzgerald and Matthew Moroko. Dear brother of Julie Palencia.

Visitation Thursday, August 7, 2025, from 3-8 PM with a Panachyda at 7 PM at Smith-Corcoran Funeral Home, 185 E. Northwest Hwy., Palatine. Family and friends will meet Friday, August 8th at Immaculate Conception Ukrainian Catholic Church, 116 E. Illinois Avenue for visitation from 9:30 AM until time of Funeral Service at 10 AM. Interment will follow at St. Andrew Ukrainian Cemetery.
