Myra Gentry

Myra Gentry age 91 of Birmingham passed away on July 23, 2025.

She is preceded in death by her parents, George and Melzie Boone; husband Dan Edward Gentry; siblings, Harvey L, Boone ( Maxine), Sybil Fleck, Hoyt Boone (Shirley), James Boone (Betty), and Don Boone (Marie).

Myra is survived by numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Gentry worked in the automotive industry for 40+ years.  She achieved many promaotions and attaining the top position of comptroller which few women have had such success in the industry.  

Visitation will be held Monday, July 28, 2025, 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm at Crestview Memorial Funeral Home, Adamsville, AL.
    

Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 28, 2025, 1:00 pm at Crestview Memorial Funeral Home, Adamsville, AL.

Burial will take place in the Crestview Memorial Gardens.
