Michael Wynne

Michael F. Wynne was born December 17, 1959 and passed peacefully on May 25, 2025. He retired as a Sergeant with the New York City Police Department. He and his fellow officers were first responders on 9-11 at Ground Zero. He was assigned to the site in the aftermath.

Michael will be remembered forever for his gentle way and kindness. And also his Bob Newhart type of humor. He was loyal and a great blessing to his family. And proved everyday that having a sibling is having a best friend for life.

Michael is survived by his two sons Michael and Connor. He is also survived by his 6 siblings, Thomas, James (Maryann), Richard and Kenneth Wynne. Jean Frisa and Kathleen (Anthony) Sinisgalli. He also was a beloved Uncle to Christopher and Joseph Frisa, James and Gregory Wynne, Lauren Vella, Jenna Cahill and Kaitlyn Soydas. He also enjoyed his Great Uncle status of 8.
