Of South Buffalo, NY after a brave battle with cancer, August 31, 2025; beloved husband of Sheila (nee Munley) Wirth; loving father of Kathryn Wirth, Kelly (Benjamin) Friedman and Christopher (Stacy) Wirth: cherished grandpa of Samuel, Luke, Nora, Ryan and Molly; dearest son of the late Robert and Lucille (nee Bodekor) Wirth; dear brother of Robert (June) Wirth, Kathleen (Kenneth) Wass, Lawrence (Peggy) Wirth and Ann (Gary) Halter; also survived by nieces and nephews; dear friend of John Busch. (Please assemble at Church). Entombment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. Michael worked for the FDA for 42 years and was a proud graduate of the College of Forestry at Syracuse University.
