Michael Shore

Michael B. Shore, of Airmont, NY, passed away suddenly on June 5th, 2025. Mike was born on September 9, 1951 and lived in the Bronx until 1962. He then moved to Rockland County, where he would live for the rest of his life.

Mike loved sports and fitness, from playing stickball and soccer as a kid to becoming a marathon and long-distance runner. Mike was a passionate Mets fan from their first game ever in 1962, a Tottenham Hotspur supporter, and a New York Rangers fan. Mike loved to travel, especially to Marco Island, Bethany Beach, and on cruises with his wife, kids and grandchildren.

Above all, Mike lived for his family. He loved his wife of 47 years, Sunny, his sons Bryan, Eric, and Matt, his grandchildren Meredith, Kelsey, Rex, and Hank, and his daughters-in-law Lauren and Kara with all his heart. His grandchildren will always look fondly back on the good times they were able to share with their fun and silly “Papa Mike.”

Mike is further survived by his mother, Florence, and his sister, Linda. He is predeceased by his father, Harold.
